In 1999, following the takeover of Bombardier, the rail division of Adtranz DaimlerChrysler Rail Systems became a new global brand for railbound public transportation. Kaiserwetter Berlin was commissioned to develop the global corporate design manual. A new face to the customer: from the metro in New York City to commuter trains in Singapore, Swiss ICN to trams in Berlin, Istanbul, Lisbon and Helsinki. The agency developed the company's new face for B2B communication with transport companies in cities around the world.

Bombardier Transportation was a global manufacturer of rail vehicles based in Berlin. Until 2020, the company was a subgroup of the Canadian company Bombardier. It was acquired by French competitor Alstom in 2021.
